Hazardous Weather Policy

TurdBusters Hazardous Weather Policy: Safety First, No Matter the Forecast

At TurdBusters, we’re committed to delivering top-notch service no matter what, but sometimes the weather has other plans. To keep our team safe and ensure the best experience for our customers, we’ve developed a Hazardous Weather Policy. This policy helps us navigate rain, snow, storms, and extreme temperatures without compromising safety or service quality.

Our Approach to Hazardous Weather

  1. Safety Comes First
  • The safety of our technicians is our top priority. Hazardous weather conditions can make it unsafe to travel, navigate gardens, or properly clean up.
  • If conditions are dangerous, we may need to delay or reschedule service.
  1. Notification in Advance
  • If hazardous weather is forecast, we’ll send you a notification via text or email at least 2 hours before your scheduled service time.
  • In the event of sudden weather changes, our team will contact you as soon as possible to discuss next steps.

Types of Hazardous Weather

Here’s how we handle different weather challenges:

Rain and Thunderstorms

  • Light Rain: Service will continue as scheduled unless conditions become unsafe or too muddy to perform a thorough cleanup.
  • Heavy Rain/Thunderstorms: If storms bring lightning, heavy downpours, or standing water, service will be postponed.

Snow and Ice

  • Light Snow: Service will proceed as long as we can safely access and work in your garden.
  • Heavy Snow/Ice: If snow or ice covers pet waste or creates unsafe conditions, service will be rescheduled until the area is clear.

Extreme Heat

  • If temperatures exceed 95°F (35°C), we may adjust service times to cooler parts of the day or reschedule to protect our technicians from heat exhaustion.

High Winds

  • Strong winds that pose risks (e.g., flying debris) or make waste disposal difficult may require a temporary pause in service.

Rescheduling Process

  • If hazardous weather prevents us from completing your service, we’ll contact you to arrange a new date within the next few days.
  • Priority will be given to customers whose services were disrupted.

Customer Responsibility During Hazardous Weather

To help us keep your service on track, please:

  1. Clear Pathways: After snow or ice storms, clear pathways to the garden if possible.
  2. Secure Outdoor Items: Remove items like toys, lawn furniture, or debris that could be hazardous in high winds or storms.
  3. Communicate: Let us know if your yard is inaccessible or has been impacted by weather (e.g., flooding, tree damage).

Why This Policy Matters

Weather can be unpredictable, but your satisfaction is important to us. By planning for hazardous conditions, we can keep our technicians safe, protect your property, and ensure your service is completed with the quality and care you expect from TurdBusters.

Thank you for understanding—rain or shine, we ain’t afraid of no weather!

“Who ya gonna call? TurdBusters! Keeping your garden clean and safe, no matter the weather.”
